£100,000 Milestone Reached

To mark the 15th anniversary of Donna’s Dream House, Mr Barry Young and Staff of the Lyndene Hotel will present a £2500 cheque to Mr Len Curtis MBE, Chairman (Donna’s Dad) at 11am on 15th July 2014 at the Lyndene Hotel, 303-315 The Promenade, Blackpool, FY1 6AN to bring the total donations from the Lyndene Hotel to £100,000 over the last 15 years.

Len Curtis MBE says

“Without Donations and support like this from Barry and his Team our special Children and their Families would not be able to have the limited quality time together to enjoy many happy memories of fun and laughter, while enjoying a fun filled, FREE holiday together, and when needed the very special support from the Snow Drop Bereavement Centre and also the new Teen Programme”.

Barry Young says

“As a family owned business in Blackpool we receive lots of requests for support from families wanting a free holiday, unfortunately we are not always in a position to give the specialist holidays and with this in mind we are proud to support the expertise of Donna’s Dream House to undertake what we can’t. Len and his team of volunteers should be an inspiration to us all with the work they do and we will always continue to support them in whatever way we can. The next event I will be undertaking is a charity skydive on 7thSeptember 2014.”
