Did you know that it costs at least £220,000 per year to keep Donna's Dream House running? If it were not for the generosity of several local shops and businesses that donate supplies and equipment it would cost about twice that amount! Donna's Dream House is run primarily by volunteers, but relies on donations to survive. Please consider making a gift to Donna's Dream House. Every penny makes a difference - even a donation of £1 keeps us topped up with little things like sweets for our visitors.

Donna's Dream House does not receive any bank account or payment card details. The only information we receive is your name, the date of your donation and the amount you have gifted to us. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Donate via Just Giving

Just Giving is the worlds most trusted platform for online giving. Since Just Giving was founded in 2001, $4.5 billion has been raised in 164 countries for good causes.

Simply click the Just Giving balloon, click the 'Donate' button (or 'Make a monthly donation' link) and follow the instructions provided.

Donate via Cheque or Postal Order

If you would like to make a donation but would prefer not to do it on-line, you can send a cheque or postal order to the address on the Contact Us page of this website. Please make cheques payable to "Donna's Dream House".

Please Do not send cash through the post.

If you are posting a cheque to us, please post your Gift Aid Declaration Form with your donation (See Gift Aid section below). Most postal orders already have a form printed on the back of them, so please fill it in if you are sending a postal order.

Donate via Standing Order

The advantage of a Standing Order is that, unlike a Direct Debit, we are not taking money from your account - you are sending it to ours (A Standing Order can be cancelled at any time by sending an instruction to do so, to your bank).

All you need to do is click the Standing Order balloon to download the form to your computer. Next you can print it out and fill it in. Then take or send the form either to your own bank or to Donna's Dream House, and the standing order will be set up.

Gift Aid - How it Works

Under the Gift Aid scheme, we are able to claim an extra 25% from the Government on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer. For example, on a £100 donation we can reclaim £25, making your donation worth £125 – at no cost to you or our charity.

When you donate to Donna’s Dream House, you will be asked to confirm whether or not you are a UK taxpayer. Gift Aid can only be reclaimed on donations made by individuals who pay UK income or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year.
